Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and we ask that you please call us if there has been a change in your schedule. However, day to day, our job is take exceptional care of our patients, both those who have reserved appointments and those who have unexpected dental emergencies. This has necessitated our 48 hour cancellation request. Calling us ahead of time allows us to contact patients who are waiting to see the doctor or hygienist and would appreciate that appointment time. We value your time as we expect you value ours.
It is extremely important for your dental health that you follow through with your appointments both with our hygienists for your continuing care visits and with us, your dentists, for necessary dental treatment. Our goal is to provide you with the best dental care possible, which requires a commitment both from you and us.
Therefore, if you are able to keep your reserved appointment, it is in your best interest and the best interest of all our other patients. If you do need to reschedule, please give us the courtesy of 48 hours. We want to ensure that when you need to see us, for both regular reserved appointments and emergencies, we are able to see you.
